New AARP Survey on WA Businesses and Health Benefits

In June the AARP published a survey entitled, "Condition Critical: A Survey of Washington Businesses about the Future of Employee Health Care Benefits." The survey was of over 400 Washington businesses equally segmented and weighted by employee population size.

The survey collected the following information by employer size about the average monthly cost of health insurance for single coverage.

We were surprised to learn small businesses are paying approximately 75% more for their health coverage than mid-sized businesses. With the economy moving towards recession, it is imperative that small businesses have access to affordable options.

New Commission Reporting Feature

Brokers who use Array are the Broker of Record on all policies generated through our platform. Brokers keep all carrier commissions, typically 7.5 - 8% on individual coverage.

We have released a new tab on the broker administration portal where brokers can view estimated carrier commissions segmented by employer and policy.

This report can help brokers ensure that they are compensated appropriately by insurance carriers for business generated through Array.
