Broker Compensation
Using Array Health, brokers often make more money from carrier commissions than they would through a traditional group medical plan. Why? Because all employees can generally find an affordable policy in the individual market, a greater number purchase coverage. What’s more, because individual coverage for children is much less expensive than coverage found in the group market, a higher percentage of families purchase coverage. With more people insured, you make more money.
Commissions
When you use Array Health you retain all commissions paid by insurance carriers. You are the broker of record for every individual policy submitted through Array’s application platform by employees of your clients. Carriers send commissions directly to you. Commissions are typically 7.5 - 8% in Washington, and many carriers pay bonuses of $70 - $100 per accepted application, provided you meet certain quarterly sales targets. Please contact insurance carriers directly to learn details of their compensation programs.
Commission Reporting
Array Health offers comprehensive commission reporting tools to ensure your commissions department pays you for all the policies you sell.
From your Broker Portal you can access reports stating the expected individual policy commissions paid for each subscriber for which you are the broker of record. The report provides carrier names, subscriber identification numbers, premium payments, commission levels, and expected commissions paid. This report gives you all the information you need to be properly compensated by your commissions department.
