Ralph Derrickson Appointed to Array Health’s Board of Directors

SEATTLE, WA (September 21, 2009) - Array Health, a benefits administration company, is pleased to announce that Ralph Derrickson has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Ralph is President and CEO of Carena, Inc, a Seattle-based company that provides healthcare for the way we live and work today.

Mr. Derrickson has more than 25 years of senior management and venture investment experience, and a proven track record of innovation. Prior to joining Carena, Mr. Derrickson was Managing Director of Venture Investments at Vulcan Capital and a founding partner of Watershed Capital. Mr. Derrickson has held senior management positions at Metricom, Inc., Starwave Corporation, and NeXT Computer, Inc. He also serves on the board of directors of Perficient (NASDAQ: PRFT).

Ralph is a lecturer at the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, and is a member of the Executive Advisory Board of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Washington. Ralph serves on the Board of Trustees of the Island School. He is a member of the President’s Circle of the National Academy of Sciences, The National Academy of Engineering, and the Institute of Medicine. Ralph holds a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
